WoW doesn’t register addon changes until you exit the game and restart it. Save yourself some frustration and install only when you’ve completely exited the game. Log in to check them, log back out as necessary to fix things. My AddOns didn’t load after a patch! From the character select screen, click the AddOns button. Folder/File with question mark when I boot up. There is the boot sound at the beginning and then the screen goes grey and in the middle appears a mac smiley folder with a question mark on it. Nothing more happens. That is, if I have understood the problem correctly! Is the folder that contains the game set to 'Read Only?' The client needs to add files to the game folder before it can run properly. To ensure that it is able to make changes, right-click on your Guild Wars 2 folder and select Properties. From here, un-check the option for “Read-Only” and left click on Ok to save your changes.
Here's the issue, I am currently trying to intall a mod for a video game I run on my Macbook Pro through the Steam App. The game is called 'KSP'. I would need to open the software files contained within the game in order to install the mod. There are a lot of people online saying that this is where I should go to find the code files for my game:
/Macintosh HD/Users/[your_user_name]/Library/Application Support/Steam/SteamApps/common/KSP
Folder That Contains Game Doesn't Open Correctly Mac Download
The problem here is that when I go into my user folder, I do not see a 'Library' folder under my [your_user_name] folder.
There is also a second possibility. Perhaps that information I recieved was wrong, and I am actually to search under these folders:
/Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Steam/SteamApps/common/KSP
But the issue here is that the 'Steam' folder doesn't exist under the 'Application Support' folder.
Am I missing somgthing here, or do these folders simply not exist? Was the SteamApp not correctly intalled? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
