  1. Jan 13, 2020 Gaming on the Mac isn't as big as on PC, but there's still some great games out there for Apple computers. In some cases you'll be OK using a keyboard and mouse, but for a lot of people, kicking back and using a controller is the way to game.
  2. MacOS 10.14 Feature Requests. Rethink Mac App Store so more devs use it. Either do away with Game Center or go all in and make it a platform competitive with Steam.

Create a Game Center profile

  1. On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, open Settings. Scroll to Game Center, then tap it.
  2. If Game Center isn’t on, turn it on, then sign in with your Apple ID.*
  3. Tap the Nickname field to enter a name that your friends will see when you play games together. If you can’t think of a name, you can choose one of the randomly generated suggestions.
  4. To personalize the picture that shows with your nickname, tap Edit in the circle at the top of the page. From here, you can create a Memoji, use an existing one, or customize how your nickname's initials appear.

Use Game Center with iCloud

You can access your game saves, high scores, and friends on all of your devices by using Game Center and iCloud. This is on by default.

* If you see a nickname or other information already set up, you might already have a Game Center profile. Check Settings > [your name] to verify that you’re signed in with your Apple ID.

Manage users in Game Center

Add friends

  1. On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, open Settings. Scroll to Game Center, then tap it.
  2. Tap Add Friends.
  3. Enter the phone number of the person that you want to invite to be friends in Game Center, or you can tap to invite one of your contacts. Once that person accepts the request through the Messages app, you'll be able to see them on your list of friends.

Remove friends or report Game Center users

  1. On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, open Settings. Scroll to Game Center, then tap it.
  2. Tap Friends to see a list of users who you're friends with and users who you've recently played with.
  3. Swipe left over the user's name to reveal more options. Tap Remove to stop being friends with someone in Game Center. Tap Report and follow the onscreen instructions to report a profile for cheating, inappropriate content, or another problem.

  • On an Apple TV, you can sign in and sign out of a Game Center account in Settings > Users and Accounts > Game Center.
  • To accept a friend request, the recipient must click the link in the text message on their iOS 13 or iPadOS 13 device. They can’t accept friend requests on older operating systems, computers, or Android devices.

Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive, Skype for Business, and OneNote will install and run on macOS 10.14 Mojave. Microsoft fully supports Office 2016, Office 2019 and Office 365 for Mac on 10.14 Mojave when you have the following Office updates installed:

  • Office 365/2019 - Build 16.17.0 or later

  • Office 2016 - Build 16.16.2 or later

  • Skype for Business 16.21.65 or later

For the best experience with 10.14 Mojave, be sure to keep your Office apps up-to-date. If the version of Office installed on your Mac is earlier than 16.14, and you are not being offered updates, you can download the latest Office for Mac suite installer.   • Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote: Select the Send a Smile icon in the top-right corner of the app.

  • Outlook: Select Contact Support from the Help menu.

Office for Mac 2011 and earlier

Since October 10, 2017, Office for Mac 2011* is no longer supported.

Note: * Lync for Mac 2011 has a limited time of Extended Support for security fixes.

Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Lync for Office for Mac 2011 have not been tested on macOS 10.14 Mojave, and no support for this configuration will be provided. This means there will be no new security updates, non-security updates, free or paid assisted support options, or technical content updates.
