Project Kat is a creepy little anime styled supernatural horror adventure that follows a highschool girl with an obsession with proving that occult practices are a load of crap.

In Project Kat you take on the role of Kat, a highschool girl whose favorite pastime is disproving the occult arts. Aside from winding up the members of the school’s Occult Club, Kat’s hobby is mostly harmless, but today she’s testing out a new ritual – one that may not be as fake as the ones she’s tried before…

Taking around 40 minutes to play through, Project Kat is a fun little horror game with interesting characters, some strange twists and a nice blend of Anime styled artwork and pixel art animation. It’s a lighthearted and quirky take on the horror genre, but there are some freaky moments. Interestingly, there is just one ending, but there are multiple different ways you can approach each puzzle, and your actions can cause the game to play out a little differently.

It’s a great little horror game with an intriguing narrative, inventive puzzles and likeable characters. Project Kat is the prologue to a larger adventure that’s in the works, so it’ll be a joy to see more of Kat’s adventures (assuming she’s still alive!)

FeedVid is a clever little horror puzzle game that pays out via a YouTube-esque video sharing app running on an “advanced neural network”, which someone keeps sending you strange videos to your on.

The FeedVid website is being hailed as a revolutionary new video sharing platform that uses an advanced neural-network based algorithm to determine your video preferences. The majority of the videos that turn up in your feed are pretty inane and harmless. You can’t actually watch them, but you can like, dislike, flag and comment on them. Occasionally a mysterious video from an unknown source pops up though. The videos are taken from a first person viewpoint and often require you to give them a little assistance to be able to move on (at which point more videos pop up in your feed).

Taking around 10 minutes to play through, FeedVid is a great little game with a fantastic concept, cleverly constructed puzzles and some clever little audio and visual touches. It’d be nice to see it expanded on as the concept has a lot more potential. Highly recommended.
