Mar 20, 2020 Originally released back in 2008, we still cannot talk about the best free games for Mac without mentioning Team Fortress 2. TF2 is a team-based FPS developed by Valve. Players choose a character from the multiple classes available, then join one of two teams and battle in a variety of game modes such as capture the flag and king of the hill. This squad-based shooter, which features nine distinct character classes and a unique art style, is the successor to the original Team Fortress.
